This policy explains what RNDLine Construction LLC collects when you use rndline.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. We are a general contractor in Sacramento, California — we collect information to quote and carry out construction work, and for nothing else.

Information you give us

When you submit the estimate form, we receive the information you enter: your name, phone number, email address, the property location, the type of project, your budget range and timeline if you choose to share them, and anything you write in the description field.

We also record that you checked the consent box, the exact wording you agreed to, the date and time, and the page you were on. We keep this so we can show what you agreed to if it is ever questioned.

Voice assistant calls

The site offers an AI voice assistant. If you start a conversation with it:

• The call is recorded and transcribed. You are told this at the start of every call, as California law requires all parties to be informed.
• We receive the recording, the transcript and a summary of what was discussed.
• If you had already submitted the estimate form, your form details are passed to the assistant so it does not ask you the same questions again.
• If you object to being recorded, tell the assistant and it will end the call.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — how many people visit, which pages they read, and whether they submit the form. This tells us in aggregate what works; it does not tell us who you are.

Analytics uses cookies. You can block them in your browser settings or with a browser extension, and the site will work normally without them.

How we use your information

• To contact you about the project you asked about
• To schedule and carry out an on-site visit and prepare a written estimate
• To do the work, if you hire us
• To keep records we are required to keep as a licensed contractor

We do not use your information to advertise unrelated services to you.

Calls and text messages

By checking the consent box on the estimate form, you agree that we may contact you by phone, text message and email about your request — including by automated or AI-assisted voice calls and text messages — at the number you provided.

Consent is not a condition of hiring us. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, telling us on a call, or emailing info@rndline.com. We will stop contacting you.

Who else sees your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and they process your information only to provide their service to us:

• Web3Forms — delivers estimate form submissions to our email
• Vapi — operates the voice assistant, including recording and transcription
• Make — forwards call summaries to our email
• Google Analytics — website usage statistics
• Netlify — website hosting

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to defend a legal claim.

Subcontractors and suppliers

If you hire us, we share what is necessary with the licensed trades and suppliers working on your project — typically the property address and the scope of work. They receive what they need to do the job and nothing more.

How long we keep it

Estimate requests that do not become projects are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to one year. Records relating to completed projects are kept as long as California law requires for a licensed contractor, and longer where a warranty period applies.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Your rights in California

California residents can ask us:

• What personal information we hold about you and where it came from
• For a copy of it
• To correct it if it is wrong
• To delete it
• To stop selling or sharing it — we do neither, but you may ask

Email info@rndline.com and say what you want. We will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Security

Form submissions and the site itself are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send us financial account numbers, social security numbers or similar sensitive details through the form or the voice assistant. If we need something like that, we will arrange a secure way to collect it.

Children

This site is for homeowners and property owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top will change. Significant changes will be noted on this page.
